circles.

I want to share my love for being alone with someone else.

shnelson46 asked: heyy, as a class project i’m making a zine that focuses on the experiences of genderqueer people in and outside of the queer community. in addition to a survey (http://bit.ly/gqsurvey), i'm collection submissions (images, stories, poems, experiences, etc) to include in the zine. anyway, i saw that you submitted a picture on the genderqueer tumblr and was wondering if you’d like to submit something to help out (please email them to genderqueersurvey@gmail.com if interested)! i’m short on submissions right now and would appreciate any help you could give, even if it just involved spreading the word. thanks so much! :)

As of right now, I don’t personally have anything to submit, but I’m happy to spread the word!

atwill asked: Just lucky i'm duelling my degree with nursing so i am pretty clued in on those sorts of things as well. what are your symptoms? sick can mean a lot of things.

To be completely honest with you. The fucked up things really don't phase me all that much. The first one i ever saw was the heart beating in someones chest. Bending over her body and peering inside her chest. Biggest rush. Weirdly so almost. I couldn't stop telling people about but i can guarantee you that most of them definitely did not want to know haha.

Much admiration for the song you're trying to learn. I studied a lot of Schubert in highschool. Classical and that. A lot of people can't comprehend my eclectic taste in music. My housemates are pretty solidly obsessed with dubstep which is ok for a while but it's not really a 24/7 music. Jazz and blues...oh my that gets me going. I always wanted to be a jazz/blues singer but i just don't have the confidence to actually sing in front of other people.

The internship sounds like an almost dream job for me. I've done babysitting and stuff. I'm housesitting for a family i babysit for at the moment. They have a puppy that needs almost constant attention so i can see why they didn't want to put him in a kennel or something. I'm currently working at Subway...just to pay the rent you know. Until i graduate. I went for a job interview for a company that hires rides to events and things like that...just as a weekend job so fingers crossed i'll get that one to put a bit of extra money in my pocket.

Anyway, back to the original question, symptoms??

Fever.  Vomiting.  Super sore, but that’s probably from the fibromyalgia.  Headache.  Super tired, but that’s probably from the Epstein Barr.  Stuff like that.

It’s good that the fucked up stuff doesn’t phase you.  Someone needs to do that job to save fucking lives, and it isn’t going to be me.  I can deal with seeing a lot of things, probably even the heart thing, but not someone’s leg getting split in two.  It sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it.

I agree.  I sort of don’t understand the whole dubstep thing.  I mean, it can be okay for a few hours (maybe), but people, learn to go back to your roots.  And by that, I don’t mean Gregorian chants, but classical, blues, gospel.  It’s good stuff, but no one seems to understand that anymore.  Not even the people I’m in school with.

I simply adore singing jazz.  It’s definitely not my best genre, but it’s so much fun.  You can take so many liberties with the melody and rhythm that you can really make a song your own.

They have a puppy!?  I love puppies.  Seriously, I need a dog to come home and cuddle with.  Anyhow, none of the  jobs you stated sound too bad.  Like you said, just gotta pay the bills.

I’ve just started season three of Dexter.  Is it just me or does is sorta suck?

I’ll know I’ve made it when I can get myself some red-soled babys.

I’ll know I’ve made it when I can get myself some red-soled babys.

atwill asked: I'm studying Paramedicine. To be a paramedic obviously. In Australia you have to have a degree to work as one now so that's what i'm doing with myself. But you do see a lot of fucked-up-shit. I've seen peoples hearts beating in their chest. A video of a car accident that severed a person clear in half. Bones poking out of legs stuck into the ground. Drug overdoses. You name it.

I played piano for about 9 years when i was younger. Then i lost interest in it. I started playing again when i was 17ish but it was just too hard to keep up with the lessons amongst other things.

Do you work?

Oh geez.  That sounds awful.  But it’s great that you need a degree in Australia.  Here, I believe people just need to take a course.  All of the paramedics I’ve dealt with don’t know shit.  Like, trying to put a fourteen gauge needle in my arm when I asked for an eighteen.  They didn’t believe me when I said I had tiny veins so I ended up looking like a junkie.

Yeah, I definitely understand that.  I wish I had more time to play, but it just doesn’t work out that way.  I’ve been trying to learn Schubert’s Gretchen am Spinnrade, but finals/work/moving is getting in the way.

Yeah, I have a couple of nannying/babysitting jobs and an internship with a super awesome company.  It’s called the House that Rock Built.  It’s a nonprofit that wants to put music education into high schools that are at risk for high delinquency and drug use.  I’m also teaching some theatre workshops over the summer.  How about you?

Also, how do you make yourself feel better when you’re sick?  I went to bed earlier tonight because I just felt awful.  Any ideas would be great.
